Clinical supervision is available individually and
in small groups—both for counselors seeking licensure and for experienced
clinicians wishing to gain further insight, support, and perspective.
Ms. Venart tailors her approach to best meet the needs of each individual
counselor, combining a focus on information-giving with an exploration
of the complex dynamics unfolding in each therapeutic relationship. Counselors
have the opportunity to present cases from their professional work settings,
collaboratively explore various perspectives and interventions, and participate
in experiential activities designed to stimulate insight and understanding.

Consultations are available for individuals or organizations.
Ms. Venart is proficient in providing consultation to individuals on issues
of trauma, working effectively with children and families, and monitoring
one’s personal and professional wellness. Additionally, she provides
consultation to individuals on issues of vicarious trauma, burnout, and
impairment. Through consultation, individuals gain a deeper understanding
of personal and professional concerns in order to enhance their working
alliances with clients. Some issues that organizations may want to address
through consultation include stress management, issues of morale and managing
organizational changes, effective group communication, burnout and impairment,
counselor wellness, and promoting a culture of tolerance for diversity
(racial, cultural, religious, personality, learning style, etc.). Consultations
are available by phone, in person, or on-site at your organization.
